Several quartets made up of ETMIH chorus members, travel throughout East Texas on Valentine’s Day to deliver singing Valentines. Each recipient receives a rose and is serenaded by love songs in the barbershop style. Make a note to order a singing Valentine for your sweetheart this year!
In October of last year, the East Texas Men in Harmony competed at the five-state Southwestern District Convention. The chorus won the Plateau AA Chorus Championship and placed third amongst all competing choruses.

The Barbershop Harmony Society, or the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA), was organized in 1938 to promote and preserve barbershop music as an art form. The society now promotes barbershop harmony among men of all ages.
